Packing the kiln ready for Raku Firing

First firing of homemade pottery kiln went fantastic. The pots were fired upto 900 degrees C, until red heat and then left to cool slowly. The next stage has begun, glazing the various pieces. I have a bad feeling about the glaze I am using, whether I will be able to hit the temperature to mature the glaze. If the correct temp isn’t reached, the colours may appear dull and matt. I will post images of results soon.
