Goblets, Pottery Wheel

Here is an image of some of my very first goblets created on my pottery wheel. The pots are in their raw state, going through the drying process before firing them ready for the glaze. I was inspired to make these by a potter from Ingleton  in the Yorkshire Dales. I wondered for a while what the disc in the middle of the handle would be used for. At the moment I’m thinking it might be to place the fingers while holding the Goblet. Really looking forward to getting these glazed ready for nice glass of red wine.
